Favorite Places to Eat in Asheville North Carolina

Asheville is a town famous for delicious food and breweries, but it’s also a pretty saturated market. I absolutely love making trips out here, even if it’s saturated, every place I have been to was extraordinary. You can spend days eating and drinking through the town and spend even more time exploring the outdoors surrounding this gem. Here is a list of my favorite places to eat since my last visit.

  • Biscuit Head – a new discovery this trip. Southern made biscuits and great brunch spot with a jam bar!
  • Early Girl Eatery – probably one of my favorite southern food brunch spots I have ever eaten. The same owners of the once exteremly popular spot King Daddy’s Chicken and Waffles.
  • Chai Panai – once a tiny hole in the hall has slowly started taking over the south, and for a good reason. Street style Indian eats in a funky atomosphere in Asheville.
  • 12 Bones – the most famous BBQ joint in Asheville.
  • Rocky’s Hot Chicken Shack – Nashville style hot chicken made a few hours East.
  • Taco Billy – White Ducks gets the taco hype but that’s because tourists don’t know better. Go West and get Taco Billy instead.
  • Gan Shan – favorite Asain food in town.
  • Limons – an upscale Mexican resturant that proves there is more than just street style taco stands. Perfect for a date night.
  • Buxton Hall – my perosnal favorite BBQ spot. Open dining hall seating, first come, first serve.
  • The Bull and Beggar – my most recent favorite discovery in Asheville. More up scale, but perfect for a hip date night or hit happy hour for great drink + seafood deals.
